The Classical Pillar Mezuzah
#M-24 2007, Jerusalem stone & brass with a patina finish or silver plate. Height: 20cm / 15.5cm width: 4.5 cm Signed by the artist.
The classical capital at the top of the mezuzah is inspired by capitals that were found in the land of Israel from the Greek and Roman periods. The top and bottom of the mezuzah cylinder are made of brass with a patina finish. The cylinder is made of Jerusalem stone and is engraved with the entire text of the “Shema” as it is written on the parchment; thus, the outside mirrors the inside. Each work is signed by the artist.
