What better symbol for the protective quality of the Mezuzah than a shield? The Shield Mezuzah, available in a variety of finishes, resembles an ancient shield like the one King David used. Adorning King David’s shield was a six-pointed star; this is where the term “Magen David” (“Star of David”) originated. The Shield Mezuzah is available with the Hebrew letter “shin,” which gives the piece a contemporary look. Each piece is signed by the artist.
